What is the refund policy?
As a seller you will set your return ,refund and shipping policies. We urge you to have customer friendly policies for competitiveness.
In case of a dispute, we encourage you to work with the buyer in resolving any issues. However, in cases where you have exhausted all avenues without a resolution, Collections Of Africa will step in to assist with a refund in situations such as the following among others;
- When a buyer did not receive purchased item.
- The item is damaged upon arrival.
- It is delivered late after the estimated delivery date timeframe.
- It is not what the buyer ordered.
Our decision is final.
How can I refund the buyer?
What happens to my payment if Collections Of Africa refunds the buyer?
We hold payments up until the fullfilment of the purchases are complete including delivery and your refund policy period combined.
We will reverse the payment if a full reimbursement is issued and if a partial refund is made, the seller receives the difference after the fees and commission proportionate to the payment is deducted.
Who pays for shipping?
The seller has full autonomy of their shop. The seller is responsible for shipping the products and must post clear shipping guidelines on their shop.
Can I deactivate my account?
Yes. You can deactivate your account at any time.
However, if you deactivate your account before the end of the payment period, the fee for that period is non refundable.
Can I retrieve my shop details once I deactivate the account?
No. Unfortunately once you deactivate your account all the information is deleted and cannot be retrieved.
What happens if the guidelines are not adhered to.
We understand even the experienced sellers sometimes encounter unforeseen problems. Our goal is to make the platform safe and secure.
If there is a pattern of repeated abuse with no solutions, your account may be suspended or permanently deactivated.

How long can I advertise my product?
You can choose any period that you wish.

When will I be charged for the advertisement?
You have complete control of the advertisement period. Your can customize the advertisement calendar accordingly.
The payments are on going per day. If by any chance you had picked a longer period and your product is purchased before the end of the period, your advertisement fee for the product will stop once the item is purchased.

Can I enroll both as a retailer and a wholesaler?
Yes. You may enroll both options which will be enabled on your dashboard. You can also pick and choose which products you want to offer on wholesale.
The wholesale buyers will be able to log in and only see wholesale prices.
