As a seller you will set your return ,refund and shipping policies. We urge you to have customer friendly policies for competitiveness.

In case of a dispute, we encourage you to work with the buyer in resolving any issues. However, in cases where you have exhausted all avenues without a resolution, Collections Of Africa will step in to assist with a refund in situations such as the following among others;

  •  When a buyer did not receive purchased item.
  • The item is damaged upon arrival.
  • It is delivered late after the estimated delivery date timeframe.
  • It is not what the buyer ordered.

Our decision is final.

We hold payments up until the fullfilment of the purchases are complete including delivery and your refund policy period combined.

We will reverse the payment if a full  reimbursement is issued and if a partial refund is made, the seller receives the difference after the fees and commission proportionate to the payment is deducted.

The seller has full autonomy of their shop. The seller is responsible for shipping the products and must post clear shipping guidelines on their shop.

Yes. You can deactivate your account at any time. 

However, if you deactivate your account before the end of the payment period, the fee for that period is non refundable.

No. Unfortunately once you deactivate your account all the information is deleted and cannot be retrieved.

We understand even the experienced sellers sometimes encounter unforeseen problems. Our goal is to make the platform safe and secure.

If there is a pattern of repeated abuse with no solutions, your account may be suspended or permanently deactivated.

Anyone can register to sell on Collections Of Africa. Here are a few tips to avoid issues.

  • Post accurate pictures and details of your products.
  • Ensure order fulfillment and shipping period is maximized to avoid cancellations.
  • Ensure you have enough inventory.
  • Post clear and accurate return and shipping policies.
  • Any misleading information i.e product information, shipping and return policies may lead to account suspension or deactivation.
  • The seller’s address is considered the return address.

 

  • Always respond in good time.
  • Thank your customers for any inquiries, purchases, feedback etc
  • Be courteous.
  • Request rating and feedback after the buyer receives their item.

Only purchasing customers can rate a product.

The wholesale buyers will be able to log in and only see wholesale prices.
